About us
An Employee-Owned Data Consultancy

Based in stunning Traverse City, Michigan, 8Bit Insights is built upon the belief that everyone is different, meaning that support for one issue may look completely different from support for another issue. We are determined to build an organization focused on our values, one bit at a time. We serve our team members and our clients with respect and trust, always putting people first.
We know that ideas come from all directions and it takes many "bits" to find the right solutions. We are self-driven strategists and are highly motivated to build strong organizational relationships, uncover inefficient or ineffective processes, and deliver elegant solutions that solve complex problems.
At an AirBnB in Seattle, the idea for 8Bit Insights was born.
In 2020, our founder - Sabrina - joined a privately-owned data consultancy with around 60 employees. The work was challenging, varied, and rewarding, and the company was supportive both toward its employees and community. It was inspiring to see and work for a company that was truly people- and values-oriented and she was surrounded by incredible, brilliant people.
After an M&A in 2022 saw the decline of the culture she loved so much, Sabrina realized that the way things were being run no longer aligned with her values and thus set out to make a change.

Sabrina is a self-driven futurist and strategist with over a decade of modern data platform and business intelligence experience. With a knack for honing in on business questions that turn into business value and actions, she solves the root challenges organizations can face with their data. A fast-paced consulting career fueled her love of learning and accelerated her exposure to many technologies and industries that allow her to determine the best solutions for businesses today.
In her personal life, you will find Sabrina traveling every chance she gets, attending metal concerts, loving her cats, and searching for the next adventure, class, or experience to try.
